Filtering static out of an MP3
Hello, I have a rather unusual help request:
I recorded an AM radio show through line-in in MP3 format from a pretty crappy portable radio. The sound is weak and full of static. I was wondering if there are any sound editing programs (free) that would allow me to filter out static and bring the voice up a bit.
Thanks a lot for any help you could give me,
-Alex

Download an older version of Cool Edit off some file sharing program. They had a free copy awhile ago.
