How cliche

It looks great and has some cool features, but from what I've heard it isn't really the best out there. My friend had some Nokia when he got the Razr for his birthday. He loves it, but it lacks many of the features his Nokia did. He is really considering switching back if he wasn't such an attention whore.

I use RAZR V3 (silver one), but I heard that Black one is much better. I don't know how though.
Anyhow, the phone look sexy and stuffs.. but it's pretty crappy when it comes to features. like the camera.... the picture quality is bad. I mean really really bad. it doesn't have enough battery life. You can't record video. (However, you can hack your phone to record video. I haven't done it though) and many other problems.
Its really a nice phone until you use it. If you use it, it loses all of its awesomeness if you know what I mean.
Good thing is that I have insurance for it =)

The Sony Ericsson k750i is a great phone. It's not sold in the US and Canada, but if you can get a hold of one, it's great (although I haven't personally used it). Before you get it, you'll have to make sure it will work on your network. The Sony site says it supports GSM 900, 1900, and 1800 networks (the lower the number the better).

I love the design, but I like the motorla V551 better. I plan on getting one sometime withing the next month or so. Cingular charges a $150 deposit tho... and I'm on a 2 year contract. But, it has bluetooth technology so thats a plus. i love the design.

Verizon will be carrying a special 2-tone gray version of the RAZR sometime soon. Gunmetal gray, not faggy silver.
Yes the RAZR is what's hot right now, but I've seen a better phone. It was Nokia, but it was like... $1900. Damned sexy, though.

Razrs are nice little phones. Not as easy to use as a Nokia but once you get used to the Motorola system it's fine. They are one of the better looking phones out there but they are a little dated already.
If you want to go for style, then the razr is the way to go. For features, I would go for the Sony Ericsson K750i. It's the phone I use atm and you simply can't beat it, if you're spending a reasonable amount on a phone that is. 2mp camera with auto focus. The photos, if taken well, can be printed 6x4 and match a lower middle of the range digital camera for quality. Any bigger and it get's a little dodgy though.
Oh, after thought, you can buy a matching Razr bluetooth headset if you get the Razr. Similar looks with that bright blue glow. :)
