loot a boot

Have you been watching MSNBC and CNN and all of the looters down south from the hurricane. It is crazy i seen one guy take a cart FULL of shoes from walmart. Now I can understand if you take things like water or food, but games, tvs, cloths, ect. That is unreal.

how about the cop who tried to stop it and got shot in the head...those folks are a joke unto themselves. all on camera too...they will be punished for their stupidity as soon as the major issues are taken care of. California repeated.

Why aren't there officers up in the choppers getting this footage tossing tear gas down there, or something like that? Seeing how these people are caught with their hand in the cookie jar, it's not like one can mistake what they're doing. They'll never be brought to justice for it, so at least do something. Rubber bullets anyway? Heck, I'd love to sit up in a chopper and snipe criminals with rubber bullets, long as you know you aren't killing anyone I think it would be fun as hell. You're not going to stop the looting, may as well dish out some corporal punishment, everyone will be having fun: you get to shoot people (without killing anyone) and they get to steal stuff.

People truly don't have any scruples these days. Opportunists, the whole lot of them, and for this to even be considered an opportunity to them is truly truly sad. Stealing electronics when YOU HAVE NO HOUSE TO PLUG THE **** IN has to be the most sensible thing a person could ever do or hope to do. Geez.

Somehow, I think it's easy to sit here and shake our heads at them from our respective comfort zones, but I have to wonder what the outcome would be for most posters here if faced with the same temptation. Like Psycho said:
