Transparent Gradient?
Is it possible to fade a gradient from one colour to transparent like you can in photoshop? From what I can tell, its not possible, but I'm asking to make sure.

You can use the blend option to blend one shape that is lets say red to another shape that has 0% transparency and this will give you the fade to nothing look. You might have to look up how to use the blend tool though cause it's a long explanation and i'm tired.

lol, ok thanks a bunch! This will be most helpful. Wonder if there is a reason Adobe hasn't allowed transparencies in gradients yet?

You can also do a white to black gradient box over something and then set an opacity mask from the transparency window. Direct transparent gradients would be nice, but that'll give the same effect with a little extra work.
