In the article that i read in my local paper the guy in charge said he didnt think there would be much demand for them. ROFL
Even if they were 4 years old, $50 to buy the laptop and replace the battery and it will work fine for word processing, which if you're in college is the main function of a laptop for you (for the general college population).

hmmm, everyone in the pic seems to be black... ::rolls eyes:: lol. i want a cheap iBook. but i already have a brandnew sony vaio... heheh.

Could probably have made at least $300 a piece on ebay for those machines. I'd spend that much for one, personally.

I would have done the same. Heck, you get something for nearly nothing :]
