DVD Image
I have 1.29GB DVD ISO that I want to burn...
BUT I don't have a DVD writer on my laptop.
Is it possible to burn it to 2 CDs instead?

May I ask what the ISO's are? If they are a game/application you can load it into a virtual drive (Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools(like Advocation said)). Or you could just split the file in half, burn both to 2 cds and then copy the files onto the computer you want them on and put them back together. (You can use something like Winrar for that).
if you split the image in half wouldnt it cause loads of issues when trying to install the image later? another option is to network the two pc's and then drag it accross the network, it would take a while as its a big file but it would (hopefully) get accross in one piece. ___________________ If you just want to store the image so you can use it on a computer later or on a differant computer, you can use a file splitting program. I know winRAR ( http://www.rarlabs.com ) has a feature that allows you to split files, but I don't know exactly how good it is. The answer is no, the two CD's would mess up the image, and even if it was possible, imagine how obnoxious it would be to have to load the disk in, right in the middle of the movie. I'm afraid is isn't possible, you might need to buy an external DVD burner. Just kidding, I made all that up. But in the offchance I'm right, I didn't make it up. ___________________ ADSLFAJD;FLAKJDF;LJD RRRRRR AD;FJAS;DLFKAJSDF; RRRRR CHCHOW CHCHOW CHCHOW RRRRRR
dvd's (movies and the like) have menues, you know, you've watched a dvd movie right. ___________________
yeah, if its a movie, encode it into divx or xvid, and it'll easily fit onto a cd, if its not a movie, just split archive it like everyones been saying, or if you just want to use it on the current pc, get a drive emulation prog like someone mentioned above. ___________________ |'Personal Growth'|'Personal Development'|
It's actually the Vista Beta Release for developers, so using Alchahol or whatever wouldn't work as it needs to be booted. |
