problem with my website in IE

I have a problem with my website i'm making... in the contact page in Internet Explorer, all the photos are lined up beside each other which is not what I want... they align perfectly in mozilla...

what should I add to the coding so it works fine in both ?

heres the website : http://etudiant.tim.cstj.net/2004/0371030/chnewsite-sp/engindex.html

I see exactly what you mean by the error, unfortunately I'm not quite sure what to do. Wait until simon comes on, he'll know.

Design by Sebastien Pelletier - you're not related to Jeremie are ya?

Edit: Have you tried putting a few <br> tags between the tables?

Maybe you don't need tables at all. Try adding <br />s under the photos and names.

Haha, ringpull, I saw that.

By the way, earth4x, please don't repost threads. (http://forums.neverside.com/view/thread89562/)

Not a help in your problem -- but couldn't you crop the photos to show less of their office and more of them? (Just a pet peeve...)

Jeremie Pelletier developed this website. He is the lead developer. Look at the bottom-left of any neverside page. You'll see some of his news posts on the HOME section too.

Remove align="left" from the tables, they are block level and will stack under each other by default and the default float direction of content is left. Basically, IE and Firefox does the same thing although when the window/frame is too small Firefox let's the content "jump down" under each other while IE forces into that position and creates a long horizontal row of tables instead.

Sorry for the late reply to this thread but I couldn't load the page with this computer (a crappy one) until I had no other applications running on it. It's quite image heavy. Smile

Hope that helps you though.

Oh and about the double threading, theTrinity. It isn't about the same page and it, technically, isn't a double-post of a thread. Smile

I don't know what you mean, but this sounds the same to me:

If you go in the english section, then in contact... In mozilla everything is placed like it should but when I open it in IE all the images are side by side...

But, it doesn't matter. We're just here to help the guy out.

Hmm, I was sure he talked about another page there, oh well. If we see something wrong going on in a forum we will correct it. If you or someone else see something that we haven't noticed we would prefer if you contacted us via this email address: forums@neverside.com

Thanks for pointing out though. Smile
