Now the Design is sliced I best post it here, since I will no doubt need critique on the coding side.

I will work on incorporating content blocks into the main area, and work on the Block side for multiple blocks.

j/k, the design is ok, the colours do however match what you would expect of a fansite for the series.

good work, just clean it up a little.

What area's need tidying up? I think the whitespace with line on top of the header will be scrapped.

I think it's a decent design. Only thing I hate is the Comic Sans 'Home','About' links.

Maybe a clean font - verdana, arial

Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, all great choices, Tahoma being my favorite for sizes 1-3.

I like the colours and the detail, yet I horribly dislike (a) something someone already mentioned and tolerably dislike the shadow over the menu on the left... maybe stopping it somewhere it's safe, then it will be better Just looks a tiny-bit like cheap Photoshop shadowing effects on flat surfaces.

Great colour scheme tho

The top area of the left block? Is that the shading you mean, I see it may clean it up to remove it.
