Emox: since you like St. Germain, have you ever listened to any downtempo stuff? St. Germain isnt quite downtempo, but I consider him a big influence to the genre. It is sort of a stretch, but you might like Bonobo. And if you do like Bonobo, let me know and I'll point you toward some other good downtempo stuff.
Aidan: I think you would like Alkaline Trio. And I hate to recommend this band to anyone (I used to like them. now I hate them.) but Midtown might be right up your alley.
