Music Recommendation Thread

The idea of this thread is to get some recommendations from other users with similar tastes for music you haven't heard based on what you already know you like. This thread is not to talk about how certain bands or genres suck, so don't do that.

So here is how this is going to go down. In your post, list 5 bands that you really like, and two relatively similar bands you don't like. After that, you can recommend band to the other posters. Also, if you have an audioscrobbler URL post that as well.

Here is a sort of template you can use to format your post:
