I have my desktop and my laptop sitting right next to each other, and I use both on a regular basis.

My desktop is running Windows XP Home sp2, and I use it to play games, and to access a remote fileserver for one of my Webmastering jobs, and thats about it. This computer also has Ubuntu installed on a seperate partition, but I hardly ever use it, as I cant figure out how to get ndiswrapper to work without lagging my system like crazy.

My laptop is a Powerbook G4 running Apple OsX 10.3, I use it for pretty much everything else; IRC, aim, msn, browsing the intenet, design and coding, etc. I also occasionally take the laptop to school to take notes and such.

Currently Windows XP Service Pack 2.

Looking into doing a dual boot with Linux, but god damn that crap's hard to figure out.
I got loast at the first step, partitions, so maybe i'll need to buy a small old p3 and use it as a Linux box?

Just find a fairly simple distro to install like suse or mandrake (now madriva). Mandrake was my first distro that I used years ago around the 7.0 release and I had no trouble really getting it to work.

Right now I'm on Win XP pro with gentoo on another hard drive. I'm thinking about maybe installing FreeBSD, Ubuntu, or Debian over the current Gentoo installation.
