US it's something like $2.10 per gallon

UK is around £3.50 per gallon ($6.32)

Actually, looking at The AA's latest fuel report, it's more like $6.96 per gallon

yeah running a car in general over here is so expencive.. the car will be about £500 for a crap one, insurance is nothing less than £1400 when your 17, plus then fuel, driving lessons, road tax, the list goes on and on...

Insurance is only that much if you go fully comp. If you go 3rd person with your parents its a lot less. Still fucking expensive, but a lot less...
