New Website ! made

I just finished working on this little website, I didn't work on it allot, the person who I did it for wanted somethin small and fast so thats what I came up with. No need to comment the coding because I have no idea what I'm doing, but if someone has something to help me out please feel free to comment on it!

I'd appreciate any honest comments/critiques you have. Thanks.

I like it, but the font color is horrible in my opinion. Try using a lighter maroon color than the one you have on the site (maybe #B70D0D) or else a gray color to match your navigation (possibly #787878). Also if you're going to use images for the navigation I'd suggest picking a different font or changing the alias. Here's some possibilities:

Edit - BTW, awesome start. It's got a lot of potential.

I'd say it has potential. Maybe one thing you could do is bring more attention to the content area (if that's what you want) by setting its background to like a beige or light yellow or something - and of course, you'll have to change the text colors too. In my opinion it blends too readily with the background pattern.

crni_labud, I really like the logo displayed on the left side of your site. How did you make that star-burst background in the logo?

As far as the design of your page, the colors are nice... not too distracting, although a little dark. The navigation is great: simple, clean, professional.

Overall, great work!

its too dark and theres too much white stroke on the logo and the content area is to dark and the link dont fit in very well. Apart from that its pretty cool nice background jsut needs a little work

Thank you very much for the constructive and positive comments. I'm still learning and tryin to get better as much as I can and with commenst like these that tell me what i did good and bad it helps...

"iamkoa" i made a striped background about 10 pixel one colours and then 10 pixels a darker colour, combined them and added filter ---> distort ---> polar cordinates and u got it

I think there is an easier way or different ways but thats how I do it..

I like a lot of this page, but the buttons dont look so hot. They could be a bit smoother. Also, the background is really dark and doesn't allow the body of the page to stand out. It looks fine on a monitor with the brightness at 100 percent, but at 75 percent its almost invisible.
