Drugs are bad, MMMkay?
A few questions..
1. Have you ever used any recreational drugs and if yes, which ones?
2. Do you smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol?
3. What in your opionion, makes legal drugs better or worse than illegal ones?
4. Do you feel the government has a right to tell us what we are allowed to put into your bodies or do you feel its their duty to protect us?
5. How would you feel if the government outlawed fast-food restaurants to help with obesity?

1. Yes. Ecstasy and Marijuana.
2. No.
3. Beer.
4. Yes
5. Don't care.

.1. Yes. Marijuana.
.2. No.
.3. The fact that it is legal makes the consequences of aquisition null, therefore causing a much wider use and casualty rate.
.4. No.
.5. I would agree with it. McDonald's has never physically come into my house and ordered my to enjoy a Big Mac, and becasue of this, I'm a rather fit guy. If you want to subsist on fast food alone, be aware that you will most likely become a fat bastard.

We've had more than a few threads on this in the past, but I'll humor you.
1. Yes of course. Meth, x, weed, and a few I might not remember.
2. Yes to both, though I haven't smoked in ages, I drink vodka pretty much non-stop.
3. Nothing. Legal vs. illegal? If legal is better it's only because the risk of prosecution is that much less.
4. Survival of the fittest. It's your responsibility to protect your own dumb butt. If you get yourself killed doing something stupid, sorry, but good. Get out of the gene pool. I don't think the government has any business telling me what I can and can't do TO MYSELF. I belong to ME, not to them.
5. I'd feel the same about the government outlawing so many other things...it's none of their business to tell me what I can and can't do to myself. If I'm stupid enough to not know when to quit I really shouldn't be out there breeding and passing those genes on, should I?

1. Yes: marijuana, DXM, psilocybic mushrooms, ecstasy (only once or twice), pain killers (vicodin, percocet, darvocet, etc.) -- I no longer do drugs.
2. Used too. Quit drinking about six months ago and I'm just now trying to quit cigarettes.
3. Nothing. I would've taken marijuana over alcohol any day.
4. No.
5. I'd love to see them try, actually. I predict insurgency of the obese army.

No.

Drugs really suck.
4. Do you feel the government has a right to tell us what we are allowed to put into your bodies or do you feel its their duty to protect us?
Not really, we have the right to choose, but some things are really bad.
5. How would you feel if the government outlawed fast-food restaurants to help with obesity?
Hmm, I wouldn't mind much, I don't go a whole lot.

1. No.
2. I drink alcohol very rarely. I love Smirnoff Twisted V, apple flavor. Yum!
3. I agree with hammy, drugs suck (in my opinion). I have better things to spend my money on.
4. Yes and no. I'm not going to elaborate on that
5. They would suck and I would be out of a job (I work at McDonald's). Not to mention that it would put a dent in the economy of the world. The fast-food industry is a huge one.

Nope

Neither
3. What in your opionion, makes legal drugs better or worse than illegal ones?
No fine for legal ones.
4. Do you feel the government has a right to tell us what we are allowed to put into your bodies or do you feel its their duty to protect us?
Not what you do to yourself.
5. How would you feel if the government outlawed fast-food restaurants to help with obesity?
I think it is sad that they would even need consider it... people know it's not good for them... so it's their fault for being fat.

1. Painkillers kind of, and just one puff on a cigarette.
2. Nah.
3. Legal ones are less harmful.
4. I believe that they have a duty to protect us and not doing so would make them seem cruel. AP makes a good point, though that I half agree with.
5. I don't think its right because I eat fast food every once in a while and I'm not fat but we should find other ways to control obesity in this country.

1. No.
2. No.
3. Agree with Michael. Smoking one cig. does not carry the potentional to kill you.
4. Yes. You live in a democracy, and by living in a democracy you GIVE UP some of your freedoms for the protection the government gives. You must also remember that by outlawing certain drugs (meth, x, weed, etc) they are not only protecting you, but they're protecting the people around you. Case in point: Here (indiana) two months ago, a meth user was seen by a young girl. He was frightened she would tell, so he killed her. Drowned her in a lake to be exact.
5. No. If I eat a cheeseburger from McDonald's, none of my senses are lessened in any way that affects those around me.
