i just tried to make something in Illustrator i did 3 layers, exported as psd and in photoshop it was all on 1 layer...maybe it cant save as multilayer psd ?

It can export a multilayer file - I saved one last night that had 78 layers!

Really, those who can't save a multilayer file should post the file so others can see, because Illustrator can export them just fine.

You can't have layer groups when exporting everything needs to be a separated layer
