Sorry Jaci, unfortunately the maturity of a few members hasn't caught up with the rest of society yet. Good luck with driving :)

Crashed my car... again!

There are certain things that I simply can't believe: I've crashed my car 4 times in less than two years (although one time it wasn't really my fault). Now, what amazes me the most is not the amount of crashes but the fact that my car never got harmed, not even scratched! And I'm not such a slow driver, specially for woman...

Last Saturday was the most recent crash. I was going at about 60 km/h (I have no idea how many miles/h that is, but it isn't very slow considering the road) when I got hit by another car (shame on me for not stopping an looking). I was with a friend so I was a little distracted and simply didn't see that woman coming (brown car against a brown wall) - she was coming at the same speed as I was.

Well, one thing that I don't do is hit the breaks (going against all basic instincts) because it is most likely that one will stop on top of the other car within such a short time frame. So I accelerated when I saw her (at least I'm a quick thinker once I notice my surroundings) hoping to cross before the crash - and I *almost* did.

After the hit I stopped, obviously. My friend went to take a look at my car - I was sure it had been damaged because of the impact that I feld. He then looked at me as if he couldn't believe it himself.

The woman also stopped and I went to talk to her and see if her car was damaged. Nothing happened to her either. As embarrassed as I was all I could do was apologize and she apologized as well (not that she needed really) - where is the road anger that we all hear about? :P

Anyway, I then told my friend about the other crashes. All that he could say to me was that my car had an evil aura (evil because it is "easy" to crash with it, it practically calls for things like this because it almost happened again when he was driving some time later) protecting it (protecting because, well, no scratches!)...

My mother usually takes some of clothes for a woman to "protect" (I have no idea of the English name for this, but it has something to do with Spiritism) and now I'm wondering if that's really it (am I finally going to start believing in these things?) or if I'm just way too lucky.

Damn... seems as though everyone has gotten in a wreck lately.

Friday night my friend got in a wreck, hour later his cousin did. Today I find out my friend knows a bunch of people who got in a wreck last week, and someone on Neverside gets in a wreck.

It's crazy.

Wow, people like you malephika shouldn't be driving! Seriously, if having a friend in the car distracts you, then you shouldn't drive with a friend in the car. You can always make choices about your own life but its not very polite to endanger everybody else's.

Car crashed suck, I've been in a few. Once I was with a friend and a girl slammed on her brakes and we rear-ended her. Not good.

Glad you (and your friend) are okay

..Decker, need we remind the community that your perception of ethics and what you should and shouldn't do are not only irrelevant, but plain retarded? If I recall correctly, and I do, you were fired from Target for exploiting company policy. So really, lets not give a lecture on what someone should or should not do. Everyone gets distracted, even you, so once again, grow up.

Last warning Decker, quit being a jerk. Thanks.

My parents had a "possessed" VW Passat. The windshield wipers would start by theirselves, the alarm would go off for no reason, the sunroof liked to open when it was raining, the lights always flickered... That car was fun...
