PYTHON Question
Does anyone know of a module, function or any other way of solving my problem using python:
I need to come up with something that searches a list of folders for files created on or before a certain date, and deletes them. I can't figure out how to read a files attributes. I am a virgin to Python, and would be executing this script on OS X. Any thoughts would help out Greatly.
Thanks in Advance.

Most people here are only knowledgeable of PHP and refuse to learn about other things. I respect you though, good to see someone trying something else than the standard PHP/MySQL stuff.
This is not a beginner's task, so you are most likely going to get an answer at a Python dedicated forum or ask for a solution in another language.

It is, but the fact is that there is truth within my statement.

I don't see anything wrong with people wanting to learn PHP/Mysql very well. Besides I really don't think that it is a matter of refusing "other things". The server-side section of this site has, for the most part, been dedicated to PHP/Mysql development just as other sites are dedicated to certain things. It'd be like going to a car imports forum and saying that the members were ignorant for not buying US made cars.
As far as your question goes, its been a while since I have even looked at Python (because I enjoy PHP so much) so im pretty sure you can just import os then use the stat function and suck out any data that you need
http://www.python.org/doc/current/lib/os-file-dir.html
as a fairly good reference

I attempted to learn Python at one point, I actually wrote a simple tutorial on it but I never pursued it past the basics =\
