Help with vectorizing a jpeg please
I have a jpeg file which I need to be printed. It's in 1024 which would be pretty small if printed out. I thought I'll vectorize it but it's a pretty complex shape(I made it with the pen tool in ps so it won'T be too difficul to vectorize) and I'm fuckin lazy.
Yep I did checked older threads. I even downloaded some programs which could supposedly trace my pic. But it didn't work for me. I got some wierd paths but nothing I could use.
Have any of you ever used any programs that automatically trace shapes, and if yes could you give me a link to a tutorial or just briefly tell me how to use any of these programs?(Don'T care which program, I'll download a trial if needed)
Edit: Yeah I guess it belongs to the vector forum. Apologies. Move it staff plz. Oh and thx in advance

Adobe Streamline is one of the best tools for tracing, however, just like all other tracing tools, it might create some "weird paths" or add too many anchor points.
The best thing for you to do (besides adding a screenshot the next time) is to trace it again using the pen tool - althould if you still have the path in Photoshop you might still be able to export it in a vector format, but I can't be 100% as I haven't tried that myself.

Well I could correct some wierd paths but these weren't even similar to my shape. And I don'T have the path in PS. In my .psd I had to merge the paths to create what I wanted and I forgot to make a copy...it is fuckin distrubing.
Does flash trace good?

Can you make a selection from your shape? In Photoshop you can create paths from selections.
Flash can trace, depending on your shape (screenshot?), but it won't be perfect just like most of all other tracing tools.

malephika thanks.
The same idea came into my mind 5 minutes ago. I rarely work with vector shapes in PS and I forgot that selections can be transformed into paths.
thanks for everything guys.
