I've never tried either (well, one beer but anyway), but I don't see the harm in the ccasional bong, or the occasional drink. As long as you don't get drunk and do soemthing stupid, or overuse MJ causing permanant damage, both are fine, IN MODERATION.

The only reason why I think alcohol should be illegal and marijuana legal is that when people drunk, they often get stupid and violent as well. The times I have been stoned or friends have been stoned, they just acted sleepy and hungry.

If you told a drunk man he was a douche bag, he would probably attempt to punch you. If you told a stoned man he was a douche bag he would probably say something along the lines of "aaahahaha nooo yoouuu don't meeaaaan thaaaat."

What's wrong with your brain? There's probably been over a million fist fights outside of clubs, because the two people were drunk. I bet there's been zero fist fights caused by someone being stoned.

Stoned people destroy their lifes in a far more drastic way. Here, where pot is almost legal (nobody cares anymore, worst thing that happens is when they just take it away from you) there are a LOT of people aged from 14 to 18 that throw everything away because of weed.
I do not this at all with alcohol.

It's all about moderation, I think. I could say the same about where I live, there's plenty of students in the local high schools that are only in 11th grade and are addicted to alcohol. It's sad.

Ozzy was on a little bit more than weed, I'm sorry to break it to you. Also everyone should download "Pot vs Beer" By Bill Hicks. Although by some of your posts I can tell you have already heard it. And to whoever said alcohol is a form of social interaction which for hundreds of years has been the norm... Shut up, your denial is beneath you. If the government ever does legalize weed they will tax the **** right out of it. Look at amsterdam, weed is legal. Now, they have those little bars that sell weed. The owners of those bars said that they would go out of business if it wasn't for tourists. That's weird isn't it? It's legal BUT the majority of the people don't use it.... hmmmm

If you drive while being stoned, you are every bit as dangerous than a drunk driver. It has nothing to do with speed, but with your reaction time that is slowed down.

I've been punched in the face by someone who was stoned on **** but I've never been hit by a drunk guy (and I've been around more drunks than stoned people), so there goes the violence+cannabis = impossible logic.

They are both equally harmless/dangerous.
