First of all, who said anything about OEM mobos? I was talking entirely about CPUs. Second of all, most Mobos have online manuals.

What I mean for overclocking being involved is (and this goes along with price) whether or not you want to use the retail HSF depends on how much you want to overclock.

Also, many places (such as newegg) do have good warranties on OEM parts.

I'd get a 3200+ an nforce 3 or k8t800 mothberboard if you want to go agp and an nforce 4 or k8t890 mobo if you go pci-e.

Really motherboard chipsets mean little without the extras (if you don't oc) since the memory controller is now on the cpu.

What? Jumpers are still used. (most often now probably to clear the CMOS)
