High performance webcams?

Hey guys,
Im in the market for a nice webcam. My current one is pretty crappy. I got it for free after rebates 3-4 years ago and it barely works with Win XP.

I know Apple iSight is the top cam on the market, but work only on Macs. So if anyone knows the Windows-based camera with iSight's performance, please tell me.

IF you've can spend it, get a mac, totally worth your money. Yes it takes a little getting used to but it can communicate with the PC so you can pull your files as nessecary and the basic OS is much much better. Best wishes.

Then he'll get a whole crapload of compatability errors with his software. For example, Adobe CS has two versions: Mac and Windows.

not asking for computer suggestions. i would take a mac anyday and know enough about them, just too pricey for me right now. maybe in 2 years, after college Ill be able to pick one up.
