Keyboard Shortcuts
Hi all I have a dell keyboard and it has the hotkeys on it to function with the music volume, next track etc... but it only works with windows media player. I've always wondered how to get it to function with other players such as winamp. Anyone know?

If I remember correctly, there was a configuration page in TweakUI for that.
This may be of some help: http://www.autohotkey.com/
I just use xmodmap, though. <3 X11 :D :D

Could you explain what you mean by 'xmodmap'? I've never heard of that.

It's a command for platforms with X11: http://www.xfree86.org/4.2.0/xmodmap.1.html
Basically, it just maps keys to different logical buttons. I have my multimedia keys mapped from F13 to F28. Then, I have different keyboard shortcuts set up in my "K Menu" for different actions--pressing "volume up" (F13), causes the command "mixer vol +1" to run.

Try going into the winamp preferences. Then General Preferences -> Global Hotkeys, enable them. If any need changing just remap them.

I have a wired mouse that has back and foward buttons that work in IE and Firefox. They also tab through units in Warcraft III.
