Mu Online Lineage 2 is free Ultima Online ___________________ There probably isn't any meaning in life. Perhaps you can find something interesting to do while you are alive. Like how you found that flower. Like how i found you. those are more like pirated servers right? because the regular lineage and ultimaonline are p2p? Wtf are you talking about? Ultima online was never pirated. When the guys who made UO left the company they made their own emulator for it. Lineage 2 was hacked by a bunch of koreans who recompiled it and released it. Either way its not illagle so why care. ___________________ There probably isn't any meaning in life. Perhaps you can find something interesting to do while you are alive. This emulation is legal, and Origin is aware of its existence, although in certain countries the authors of these emulators are considered to have violated their software license by reverse-engineering the game, and may be banned from the official UO servers as a result (other countries don't allow restrictions on reverse engineering). To stay legal, emulation servers do not distribute the client files, and must not charge to be able to play on the shard. Good luck finding a good free shard. I played for 5 years and stopped because the quailty of the scene really went to the dogs. Planeshift isn't done, it's a pain to compile, and there isn't much to do/many people playing) that work natively on Linux? Regarding MMORPGs that work under Linux (but are not free) - Try out Vendetta Online. It's like CTF in space. I had a trial key or something like that, so I had three hours of play. It wasn't bad, it was mostly a 'go fly around, kill stuff, and upgrade your ship' sort of game. There are a lot of good free UO shards still around.. get uogateway and check them out.. some of them have just as many players as the OSI shards. for ultima online one of the best shard (free server) is http://www.theabyss.ru (half of the population is russian) |
