Meh, right-wing Christian mothers/bored mothers with nothing better to do will find anything to be against, just for the sake of being against it. Video game violence is fine. I've been playing Starcraft and TFC for years, and guess what?
I have killed 0 people. Why? Because video games != real life. The whole idea is that it's fake, it's something you can't do in real life. No one takes blowing away three or four snipers with one rocket seriously.
However, giving their article page a glance, they do have one point. There is a small problem with MMORPG addiction. But that's for most MMORPGs, not just violent ones.
And besides, I don't think casting magic missile on a giant ant is going to bring out many homocidal tendencies in kids...

I believe there are games that take violence and gore to far... But seriously...
Danger: Do video games make people violent?
Yes. What was once a debatable question, is now fact. New research has concluded that video game violence and behavior related violence are in fact closely related.
Yes it is true that video games can make people violent. But not everyone. It all depends on how the person views video gaming. If it's a complete addiction that you do 24/7, it's bound to have an effect on your behaviour. But if it's just the occassional past time, good greef. I used to game constantly, but now it's just an occasional past time.
Danger: Do video games teach people how to kill?
Yes. When video games were linked to the Columbine high school shooters, a frenzy of new research was launched, in which, one team of researchers discovered that first person shooter games do indeed teach gamers with the basic knowledge of how to kill. This research arrived be so conclusive that the U.S. government Army developed a free video game to be used as a virtual boot camp and killing simulator.
Uhh, what about movies? Give me a break with this non-sense.
Here's the facts you morons:
FACT - I've logged many hundreds of hours playing "violent" (though not gory) video games (though I don't play them near as much as I used to).
FACT - I've never killed anyone.
FACT - I've never taken drugs.
FACT - I've never been in trouble with the law.
FACT - I have control over my temper.
FACT - I don't suffer from depression.
FACT - I'm only 17.
Whatever happened to parents making decisons on their own, using their own judgement, on what movies their kids watch and what games they play, instead of having to get involved with some dumb organisation or group?

Wow.
I read the entire site over, and I agree with them. I am quitting video games. I killed way to many people because of them, and my self-depression deprives from video games.
(j/k)
That site is horrible, the people say FACT: and yet they provide no source for their FACTS. I agree with a few things they say, but most of it is ludicrous.

Sorry to double post, but:
I think we should start a website that supports video games.
