Congress dealing with steroids in baseball

Well, there have been these congressional hearings on steroids in the MLB. I obviously think steroids are wrong, but I also think its wrong for our politicians to be dealing with this stuff. Don't they have anything better to do?

All sports players should be tested and those found with steroids should be banned from the league, and fined lots of money.

as an avid baseball fan i feel that congress should keep its' mittens on what it knows, legislature. however, when a few ballplayer have the ability to taint a sport, something must be done. i think that selig and the players union need to address the issue more seriously and eradicate even the idea of steroids in its game. it is a problem not of the players themselves but the management and administration as well.

most of them do know better and don't. the majority of the ballplayers lead honorable careers.

if you have never played ball then you are not aware of certain rules that apply to the locker room and the team. problems are handled within the team and not in public.

The problems should be addressed publicly , especially since the citizens pay for the damn stadiums.
