Yeah, even though making $200k a year would be nice, I just dont see how it would be worth it. I plan on going down the web dev/designer career path so I can play a big creative role in projects, not so I can pay people to do the job I really want.

There is a reason they make that much money. To me, there is a point where the extra money isn't worth it, and I wouldn't know what to spend it on, other than uselessly frivolous junk.

If I were a Lead Developer, and given the change to move up to a management position, I would probably decline. I'd just ask them to pay me more for the Lead Developer job Smile

Um. Am I reading that right? There's a chance that in ten years I'll be making $200,000?

As with most career planning tools, they can only give an educated estimate right? I mean, there's probably potential to earn that much, but that would be the higher end of the spectrum. You'd probably be making around the average of those two numbers, or $140,000. That still seems a bit high to me anyway. Plus that job would probably be pretty boring.

You get a husband or wife and raise children together. Fund their dreamy futures and fulfill yourself

I'd take the job, probably because I'll never be a pro web designer myself so I might as well order people around to make me feel better about myself....

illEATurHARTout: You must have a login for that website. Is it your's specifically or is it one that your school has because if its your school's, would you mind sharing it with us or at least emailing it to me because I would really like to check that site out. My email is IT AINT HUR NO MO . Thanks.

That's pretty good I guess. But youc an never expect to go up to the maximum because you only get yourself disappointed. Interesting information, though.

*EDIT*
Nevermind, I found another person's account and got in, thanks of letting us know about this website. It seems really nice.
