Made In Canada (Now v2)

I'm thinking of starting myself a portfolio/blog...
I'm not quite sure of the name yet, something to do with doodle, doodler, I don't know yet... So I put in My Doodler...

i like it. its simple and easy on the eyes. i was never a big fan of menus on the right side.

I like the changes you made, i wasnt a fan of the low opacity writing behind the title before
Im not sure what you should do with the navigation on the right, its empty
- see what the navigation looks like on the top (bc with only 4 links or whatever side navigation will be hard not to waste space with, it might work if there are more links, but dont just through in useless links
- looks like the site is going to be made for heavy content, so the non flashy graphics work well
- see what it looks like if there were not diagonal lines behind the text, it doesnt bother me unitl i start to work my eyes across the text, put in some real english and see if the background makes it hard to read

It needs some sort of footer. As it is right now, it just looks like it cuts off unintentionally. Also, I don't like the italicised text on the nav. If you are using a background on the hover state, you shouldnt need to change the text as well.

Maybe you could add some kind of bullets to your side nav. It needs some embellishment.

How come it went from "Made in New Zeland" to "Made in Canada"?

I agree it does need a footer of some sort...
I don't really like the color choices but they do work, its just colors I personally wouldn't use.

If you mean the thing way at the bottom, with the colors in it, no, it's so I don't lose my colors, it's kind of my color-scheme I guess.

Because I'm only spending a year in NZ, have like 2-3 months to go so the name would be quickly out of date and don't want to waste money on 2 domains

Anyhow, I'm not totally saisfied with this one and links on the horizontal while more practical look like crap so... (I ditched the design basically)

I'm working on another one ATM...
