Collecting hosting/designers for consulting

hey

so I currently do a lot of consulting, setting people up with hosting, advising them on how to deal with designers that suck, that sort of thing.

so I was thinking of expanding, and simply dedicating myself to that sort of work. But to do that, I want to compile a good list of trusted hosting and designers. Soo, if any of you know of anything that's tried trusted and true, or your own business for me to check out, please let me know, so I can start my database.

Just so you know though, I don't intend on just putting anyone down, I will question you and ask for examples of work etc. My current boss loves me as I've prevented her from getting ripped off countless times.

But please, let me know, I really want to get this started, my design is done and all I need to do is build my list

Detail? Sure.

Right now, I get a lot of local bands and new businesses asking me how to get a website up. They know I'm into that sort of thing and want a website too. So, if any of them are serious, I set up a spread sheet comparing hosting companies, and designers for them, and answer any of their questions (what is bandwidth, etc). I charge approx 10 an hour for the research, but it would be a lot faster for me and cheaper for them if I had a nice database of reliable designers and hosting. At first, I was simply going to do the designing myself, but I don't have the time for that. My website for this isn't complete yet, once it is I'll write a script to submit yourself for review.

I'm going to develop an email like 'application' for the website, I'll link it when it's done, I didn't think this many people would be interested for some reason.

However, there are three key things I'm looking for. A complete website, not just a portfolio, but a website to serve customers, a portfolio, and an example of pricing
