recording mp3's on cassette tape
Hi Guys,
(recording mp3's on cassette tape)
I've heard this is easy to do. But the only outlets I have on this laptop are mic & headphones sockets
and on the cassette recorder a headphone socket.
This is all I would require including a line-in lead to be able to record to cassette?
Cheers!!

Connect the 'audio out' from your computer to the 'audio in' on your cassette recorder. Then you will need to play the music on the computer and at the same time, press the record button on your cassette recorder.
Why would you even wanna use such an unorthadox form of music anyways?

connect the audio out or headphone jack of the cassette player to the audio in of the pc. use something like audition to record the tracks you want, then save them to mp3. or sell your tape at the local vintage shop use the 75 cents you got off of it to buy the cd then rip the cd.

In order to do this, you will need to buy a 1/8" stereo cable and a cassette recorder that has a line in on it.
1/8" Cable
Cassette Recorder
Connect the cable to the "audio in" of the cassette recorder and the headphone jack of your laptop. Press the record button on the casette recorder, and then play the music on your computer. Any other system sounds that might occur will show up on your tape as well, though.
