Turn your normal TV into a big distortion on the wall!

I found this on an advertisement on a physics site I frequent.>>>>

However I think the blue-shaded guy in the upper left is very convincing. I would definitely trust a blue, professional-looking man wearing clothes from decades ago. Wouldn't you?

Forget that stuff. I cant wait till they have the interactive ones. At my school they have a white board that displayes what you would see on the computer monitor, but its all interactive (like a touch screen) and you have different colored markers and what not. My teacher says that in 20 or so years it will be a norm for schools to have them build into the walls.

My junior high school had one of those like 4 years ago. That's old technology. Basically, it's plugged into the keyboard and mouse ports / or usb, I don't know which, and it acts as an interface device, as well as a monitor.

The classroom I'm sitting in right now has one. Wink It's called a SmartBoard. Not sure how it works exactly, but it's still pretty cool. Tongue

Yeah, we have a SmartBoard in each of our classrooms, complete with a mounted projector on the ceiling. The teacher just plugs in the their laptop, or you can use a DVD player/VCR/Tv.

Googled "Smartboard" ; http://cont.vrml.k12.la.us/mike/Graphics/smartboard.jpg

We have those, when we're bored in lessons it's fun to run up and scribble over what the computer's displaying with the marker things Grin

The MaxTheater big screen TV kit captures the images from your existing TV or monitor and uses our exclusive high resolution 6x projection lens to increase the image any size up to 175".

Exclusive high resolution 6x projection lens...a.k.a. a piece of plastic known as a fresnel lens, can get them pretty much anywhere.

Frankly, I think this (links to Tom's Hardware) makes a lot more sense than tearing apart a decent TV (or covering it with a big black cardboard box) just to get a dim, fuzzy resemblence of something on your wall.

damn, even if I would have money for the tutorial on toms hardware, I wouldnt even be able to do it cause my house is tiny, and there are like no bear walls, and the place I do have my tv, there are windows on both sides.

Using that method I have no doubts that the picture would look very nice, however there's no way I could stand the loud hum of a projector.
