Photoshop Text size problems!

Listen, sometimes i don't know what happens but the text sizes change... Kind of like arial 4 is actually kinda big.... and it skips from like 6-3 and gets EXTREMLY small. Like arial 8 should be tiny .. well not tiny but you know. any ways can someone help me please.

Check that your resolution is appropriate for what is being done - 72 ppi for web/screen, 300+ ppi for print.

You can use pixels as the unit for the font size. The size will be independent from the resolution.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread - but I am having this problem too. Silkscreen (a pixel font) should be used at 8pt, yet it is large. However, it looks normal at 3pt. I've fixed it before and I'm nto sure how... anyone have any suggestions?

u must cheack resolution before starting ..

just go .. Image > Image size

put resolution

72 ................ ( internet)
or
250 or 300 ...( print )

make sure when you open a new document that your resolution is set to 72 ppi.
