Adding color in illustrator
I understand how to color objects, but how do I color BETWEEN objects? for example if i want to color a blank area formed by edges of the canvas and one or two other objects? I'd really appreciate it if you could help me with this, I've just started using illustrator and this problem has really been bugging me.

Umm, do you think you could post an example of what exactly you're talking about?

You must have an object to color. If you want to color between objects, place a third object behind the other two and color the third object the color of your choice.

Just make a rectangle, send it beneath the objects and fill it with the color you want - it will seems as if you had colored between the objects.
