fruity loops is a sequencer with possibilities of synthing, loading samples and so on...

So you can use it for nething with electronic music, just learn to use it

I use Acoustica Mixcraft. That is pretty good.

Reason is an amazing program, but you may need a pretty good computer to run it.

ok ill list the programs ive used

Jeskola Buzz -- made to look like old trackers, no graphics, good sounds though! And i hated the sequencer
Fruity loops -- using and loving got everything you need.
Acid -- Preferably an ASIO soundcard, my friend uses it, not too good for d'n'b, only for like ambient industrial
Reason -- Only 2 synths, 7 effects, crappy sequencer.... I liked the synths but it can't even load VST'S(synths from out of program)
Cubase -- How bout, i got a non asio card Grin

I'd say try Fruity loops.

my comp is hmmm average... i dont have any special sound cards or anything. i just want to remix songs lol.
my friend told me fruity loops wouldnt be too good for that?? but then again he uses some crappy program to remix his songs, i want a decent program.

sonic foundry acid sounds good but holy crap does it ever look advance.

hmm MixCraft Recording Studio or Acoustica MP3 Audio Mixer?
this looks more easier for me. Recording studio is better to remix songs?

use FL Studio 5. (Fruity Loops)

it has everything you need.. plus pro's use it.. like.. J Lo's producer, Justin Timberlake.'s producer.. and 9th Wonder ( Jay Z ) - Threat song was made on FL studio.. just got to have the right sound (.wavs) like those kicks, shakers, snares..and u can do anything there.. u could use combination of reason.. just use the ReWire VST .. or u could sample songs with Sound Forge or Adobe Audition.. and then use it to make beats.. good luck.. i too am learning ..
