No floor render with shadow!

Hi there, I know there is a way to do it, just can't remember how...

in two words...

I want to render a picture without floor but with shadow... (the floor is there, just invisible)

K i know it works for Cinema4D, but try with 3Ds too.

Try adding a refraction and / or reflection material to the floor.

Maybe its the point

You can apply a mat shadow material to your floor with recieve shadows checked, this should do the trick for getting cast shadows on the floor without rendering the floor.
