With the design, the words are too small. And I am not sure what you are trying to get across - what is the purpose of your website?
Also, Your links go 1, 2, 3, 5. I don't get it.

Basicly, yes. It feels sooooo 2advanced without the flash skills. And the font is way too small.
I'm not saying it's ugly or a bad design, but it isn't fresh.

When the body text is bigger than the main header of the page, you know you have a problem.

Another thing - you didn't even design that site, and you are a web design company?

Well...
From 1HP-Productions.net
Welcome to 1HP Productions. Brought to you by Kuniva, Josh, and elegantcreations. 1HP productions is a highly advanced media production studio involving Movie creations, Website Creation and advanced graphic design.
They say website creation, so I am assuming that part of their work is to create websites. Then, down at the bottom, it says it was designed by someone else. If 1HP designed it, wouldn't they acknowledge it?

Design
[*] No clear header, not on the page, not in the title bar
[*] Too high contrast on the fonts, they literally hurt the eyes of the reader when read too long.
[*] All the information drowns into the sea of black you created. Make some clearer way of bordering. You can't contain black inside white lines, that's why it looks solid black
[*] The whole "Banner with eye" has been done so many times that I think: "oh, great, another eye in another tech design" when opening your page
[*] The eye keeps drawing all attention. Visitors will notice time and time again they are drawn to the eye instead of the text while reading.
[*] The blue links are unreadable
[*] The colors don't work together with the color of the eye
Hint: Try working with lighter colors if you're not certain of your skills yet. Black is a difficult color to work with and shouldn't be handled by beginners.
Accessibility
[*] Font sizes are too small, no real way to make them bigger. I myself am near-sighted in a grade that doesn't even require glasses, yet I notice my face getting closer to the screen trying to study your layout.
[*] There's alot of text inside images, this is a no no, since people with images turned off won't see a damn
[*] The navigation is well hidden, especially dislectic people will find your site very unpleasant to look at.
Hint: Try putting yourself in place of people visiting your site, especially the extremely large group of people with glasses...
Code
[*] No Doctype
[*] use of both uppercase and lowercase tags, consistency would be better
[*] meta preferably before style tag
[*] emtpy useless tags such as: <div align="center"></div>
[*] Tables used for layout, never use them for layout
[*] Spacer gifs?? I haven't seen these since 2000, those really HAVE to go out...
[*] <!-- End ImageReady Slices -->: Dependency on 3d party slicing tools is highly amateuristic and not advisable for any kind of site
Hint: Start reading some tutorials, check the Client-side forum for info
Conclusion
This site is what I would describe as an amateur site posing as a professional tech site. If this is really a site dedicated to web design then I hope the layouts created are at least 10 times or more the quality of this site. This brings me to the next point: a site should advertise your skills.
All in all a very amateuristic approach to webdesign, and you might want to reconsider using that site...
