^ obviously another opera user. grow up guys. this is meant to be a 'mature' forum. you're all acting like you should post at some lame wrestling graphics board.
and by the way, I do want people looking at the content on the site, that's why when you try to access it in opera, it tells you to use a different browser if you WANT to see the site.

1. You're making a couple big generalizations here. Are you saying that all opera users have less-than-positive attitudes? Are all 'wrestling' boards lame?
2. Your refusal to modify your code to suit Opera users is a bad idea. You're cutting down your viewer-base simply because you don't like it. I'm not saying you can't have an opinion, you just shouldn't use that as an excuse to be lazy about your code.

have you tried accessing my site through opera? it says if you wish to view the site, please use a different browser. so if they really want to see my site it's up to them!
all wrestling boards are lame because they are full of people like PhilDesign. I'm saying he must be an opera user because he said 'the site is absolute crap. my 3yo sister could draw with a crayon better'. and I know for a fact it isn't that bad so I asumed he was just being an arrogant ****.

yeah ShaunTobias, ignore those kind of people.
anyway, I'd say...hmmm try another color on the MAIN menu on the top. Those 5 main menus should be different. At least 1 px bigger + bold ... OR different color....imho. The orange color doesn't looks RIGHT in that grey gradient menu.
Other than that, looks pretty nice.

thanks masboy, I did what you suggested, it looks better, i lightened the main menu bar and made the text bold.
*EDIT* oh and radley, I already corrected everything that alex said so no need to quote him.

About the opera issue:
Your target audience seems to be "beginning developers". (web)Developers in general have a tendency to use alternative browsers(by this I mean Opera, FF, etc...).
One who uses an alternative browser and stumbles upon a site that isn't usable with browser will most likely have a negative view towards that site and will probably click away instead of changing browser. Because let's be honest here, people can get similar tutorials/downloads/etc... at other sites, so they just look somewhere else. If you ever develop a professional site, where you or someone else depends on for money, will you have the same attitude? Because if you do, you'll lose money.
