Firefox is out, microsoft is crying.
Well i just read a article on how FireFox 1.0 is now released and at the end a statement from micro soft says:
"Microsoft has said it will focus on enhancing Internet Explorer's security features and on a major upgrade for the next release of Windows, code-named Longhorn, due out in 2006."
2006!? Cant wait that long dudes, have to go with firefox.

lol, I'm using firefox now too, I'm liking the fact that I'm able to view several sites in the tabs instead of opening windows in IE.

sorry here is the article. http://www.reuters.co.uk/newsArticle.jhtml?type=interne ... 632§ion=news
And if microsoft wants to turn IE around and stop there going to need to repair IE before 2006 that is way to much of a wait.

They're also not going to get many new or returning users because to use the new version of IE you will have to upgrade to Longhorn. IE 6 is the last version released for Windows XP and below.
