Looking for font management
Hi,
From time to time I tend to go a little font crazy, and up with a couple thousand in the fonts directory. Since time is money, I am looking for a way to manage my fonts so that the Photoshop start up time is kept to a minimum. That way, I can keep the fonts installed, but choose only the ones I would use often.
Does this make sense? Has anyone found a program of this nature?
Thanks,
Nick
EDIT:
Nevermind, this freeware app seems to do the trick: http://www.ampsoft.net/

I'm definitely a font junkie, and I've been using Extensis Suitcase for the past couple of years. Miles ahead of any other FM applications, that I've tried, and there have been a fair number.

My vote is for ATM (Adobe Type Manager)
I use this daily. It allows you to turn fonts on and off on they fly, without having to restart applications. I categorize my fonts by client, project or whatever else I feel is proper at the time. I have a default set I keep on all the time, and turn on what I need, when I need 'em. without ever having to close/restart the app. I'm working in.
