TV Tuner Cards for UK?
Hey guys, can anybody explain if I need a special UK made TV card to receive british terrestrial TV?
Also, are there cards that cover british Freeview, and if so can you give me the name of a card that can get me the standard channels plus the additional freeview ones?
Thanks!

Pretty sure in the UK, you guys use a PAL connection. Here in North America, we use NTSC. And if this is correct, then the MSI TV Anywhere card can support your basic channels. Dont know what FreeView is, so cant help ya there.
*ADD's: After a search on Google, I have concluded that in England, you are on a PAL Video connection. So then a MSI TV Anywhere card would indeed work for you*

You'll have to get a PAL version to receive UK television.
I've seen a few digital TV cards advertised, check out http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/pages/products/data_nova-t-pci.html
USB version also available.
Getting an analog TV card will be cheaper but you will be living on borrowed time as the plan of the goverment is to switch off the analog TV signal as soon as they can.

I'm pretty sure I've seen TV cards that pick up Freeview. I'll have a little check now.
EDIT: Found one straight off
