Just converted this site from a table-based layout (ugh) to DIVs and CSS. Let me know what you think.

A few things... The dividing lines between posts seem rather awkward; I'm not sure of the best way to go about fixing this... Maybe try adding a border to the top of the uppermost post?

Also, try making more of a distinction between the two sections of the nav bar. I don't think a small pastel line on a white background'll cut it.

Other than that, it looks good to be.

Personally I think the teal is too much of a contrast with the rest of the site. The white background doesn't fit either, try inverting your site in photoshop and using the resulting color for the background. Regarding the line, I'd use a lighter purple color. Other than that, good start.

I can live with comments like that. Smile

I'll see about changing the separating line to a more obvious color. I don't know if I'll be allowed to change the 'teal' color though, the client really liked the color scheme. We'll see what happens.

Thanks for the input!

I just have to state that the colors used really make me feel physically sick. Since this is a poetry website you should look into colors that are calm and warm, like a light brown or red, or a dim orange.
