7th grade science project! need topics!
Hey... Yes... I am in the 7th grade! So... all 7th graders in my school are required to do a science fair project. Anyway... I don't have any ideas on what to do my science project on. What I have to do is... get 3 gereral topics... lets say one of them was... tutorialforums! Then, I have to go get 3 sources/articles about tutorialforums and summarize each 3... Then i form a question like "what happens if i do this to tutorialforums" and base my project off of that. Anyway... I can't think of any topics!! I need two more... if you guys could help... thank you!

Explain the effects of taking a few hundred light-anywhere matchhaeds and putting them into a tenis ball, then throwing it at someone. Then demonstrate.
Seriously though, do something that looks cool. That's what counts in displays anyway... Like, make one of Tesla's coil thingies.

When I was a senior in high school, I volunteered to help judge a gradeschool science fair. So, just a tip from someone who has judged a science fair before: be original and creative. Don't look up some project in a book, we can tell.
The girl who won tested the effectiveness of about 10 different kinds of cleaning products on various kinds of stains, and then explained possible reasons why certain kinds of detergent worked better than others. It wasn't very complicated at all, but it was the most thorough and impressive we saw.
Whatever you do, dont make a volcano out of baking soda and vinegar. Also, dont disentigrate things in coke. Everybody does that.

Get yourself some kittens and a deepfryer. I'm thinking doing a test on which oils/type of kitten cooks up the best would be a great experiment.

I had to to a science fair project like that in 6th grade. My topic that I found on the internet was how someone's handwritting varies at different times during the day and how their feelings affect how neat they write. It was easy and turned out well.

You guys arn't serious enough. :
:
Thx for the tips, Joe.
Polish, that's a good idea, but I can't seem to come up with a project on that, because our teacher mentioned that some kind of measurements must be involved. (heat, length, time, ect...)
I've already begun researching on caffeine... but dunno how to do a project on that...
Also, I've been thinking about human memorization audio vs visual...
good topic ideas... no project ideas...
