How many people really need 60GB anyways? 20GB would be more than enough for me.

well maybe some people want space to back up their music. I for example have a 'Full Albums' folder full of full albums (obviously) and that is 40GB (560 full music albums) and rising.

maybe a 6th Gen. by early easter... Shocked

They don't mention such things because at this point it's still all speculation. The 4th gen iPod was "supposed" to have a color screen as well, but nope. When Jobs was asked about it he said, "It's about the music, stupid."

They can't very well speculate about battery life when Apple themselves won't confirm it eitherway. And besides, they still haven't moved enough 4th gen units to justify a 5th gen iPod. They could well release a 60GB and do a price slash on the other two (there's evidence of them doing similar mid-generation upgrades in the past) but chances are at the point they won't...not until prices drop. I sincerely doubt Apple would push a portable device for more than $500, considering that if they did, you could get a new eMac with a lot more functionality for the same price. It would require adjustments on too many levels.
