Hey please could you review my site, I made all the images myself exempt for the nav bar. If you have any suggestions please fire away.stick-war.tk

I can't say I like it. With a black background the dark blue text is barely readable, and you don't really feel like reading the stuff you've written.

I don't care to much for the header or nav buttons either. Try using some brighter colors.

Your code isn't excactly standards compliant either.

You still have som work to do on it, but it's an ok start.

no it isnt off center i used the center tags so it cant be

You just used a template from Xara Webstyle to make the nav and header. As for the site it looks like a 5 year old made it.

To sum up, fix your colors, when you say "oh I've made everything on my own" that is like saying you didn't. Try softening things up a bit, and use text with more contrast.

Loads in FF for me.

It is too plain. Not enough graphics and the black and green are a bad mix of colors. There is no structure to the layout. The header at the top is just an animated gif, which is a no-no when it doesn't really serve any purpose than to be kind of annoying. You also used the wrong "witch", it should be "which". It is easy to tell that the buttons were generated somewhere else and don't look good at all.

You are pretty young and its good that you are getting into web design. I suggest that you learn html, then css, and then start coding in xhtml. Also, be sure to pay attention to good websites out there and what makes them good, specifically the structure of the content. Also, when you see a good site, take a look at the html and see how it works and learn by example, except if the website uses tables, then just ignore it and don't attempt to learn that. Tables suck. A lot of websites people put on here don't use tables, so they are worth looking at. Also stick around on TF and you will surely learn a lot.

It's not too bad of a start, but all you did was slap an image with some text and called it a site. Keep working at it, but it's not too bad for a starter.
