Microsoft buying Nintendo?

According to a german newspaper (which made an interview to Bill Gates), Gates stated this:

"...we would make an offer immediately, if Nintendo showed interest in being sold.."

This is a vague rumor, but it woke up some interest in some graphic artists lol:

Microsoft would buy Wal-Mart if they were interested in selling. Seems like a moot point to me.

That one is really good.

I saw this rumor a while ago. It seems unlikely to happen though because Nintendo is quite happy with their company and their owner takes so much pride in his company. If this was ever to happen at all, it would definately be years down the road.
