Actually, the guys called me today, said that the invoice came to 500, we have to wait 6 weeks for the rebate, and that the battery is going to be another 80 dollars + shipping. Sorry, but I don't have 600 dollars laying around. So, I canceled it, and I'm looking for something more in my ballpark of 350

too bad it's a nice camera.

I have a cannon power shot s230 digital elph (my dad's hand me down).

It's not bad but it's a bit slow and not ideal for lower light situations.
