I strongly feel that you need to devote more effort to the pre-Photoshop (although even that area is lacking--actual imagery as opposed to background colors) stage of the design process. That is, establish a physical layout in your mind and, for God's sake, choose your colors as if you weren't a blind man!

I can't say any improvement in the layout's presentation would carry me over the hump of repulsion which I feel for your dark gray-red-teal color scheme.

Its just the name typed out with a font. Not exactly very oringal, unique, or in some cases legal.
