1. Get rid of the bevel on the navigation and make the buttons smaller.
2. Get rid of the title above the nav and the bg.
3. Make the logo smaller and find a better green.
Everything else looks alright.

to many tutorials?
update: i got the nav button idea from my stove, lol
i have more buttons than they have catagories!
i'll shrink it down, once i get the right look,
i feel it's to big and bulky the way it is now.

Here's my thoughts on the 2nd one, since I like that one better:
1 - Color the bulldog - it'll make the site that much more lively
2 - The blue/green of BULLDOG COMPUTERS is just too dull, and doesn't really go with the color scheme.
3 - Make it all smaller...it will make it a little more professional looking.
4 - I don't think it looks like a business site at all, really...it looks like an interface made from tutorials (carbon fiber bar, bevels, etc etc)

cool, thanx for the input, what about the nav buttons? i was going to eliminate most of them, it's a small business. i just wanted to see if i could give them some pizazz. lol i think your right i went 2 over the top.
i'll see if i can get a cleaner more professional look.

thanx max, i'm gonna give em some choices, these are just work ups to give the client an idea of what i can do, then get feed back on what they like, don't like and then go from there.
this ones clean and simple and not like everyone else, dam that's getting harder all the time.
i really like this one, soothing on the eyes, not all flashy.
and my nav buttons are supposed to look like touch buttons...
but now i'm thinking they look like solar panels, lol!
i hope they like this one.

that bulldog3_small_copy.jpg is best among the previous. i'd lighten it up a little, it looks kind of dull. the navigation buttons (home, etc.) wouldn't be bad as rollovers (they could "light up" or something). i'd slightly make it smaller too. the bulldog within his button vacates the rest of the upper portion of the image and it looks quite empty up there. :P
my tip is: bigger isn't always better
