How to find the accurate distance between 2 nodes?

This image will hopefully explain what I want to find...

How do you find areas between 2 nodes like that (node referring to the corners indicated by blue dots when something is selected.

I knwo of the ruler tool but its just not accurate hoping to point at an exactly right spot to get a coordinate. With photoshop its easy because youre working with pixels and you can just press left right up down till its aligned properly, or copy and paste with the marquee tool. Thanks in advance guys, and if the answer is you can't do it, are there any programs that can like corel draw? Because this severely limits by ability to make logos efficiently

The Info pallette will tell you all you all you need to know about an object. And the Measure tool will give you what you're looking for between two points. Read up on both in the help, if you're unsure on how to use them.

So is what im asking for definately possible with those tools, because I have read up on both of those tools and as far as I believe the info palette does not show the coordinates of all interesections on an object (or nodes or whatever), and the measure tool does not snap to corners.

i read it again and my question still stands, both of those tools only provide details on the whole object (as my picture states) or information under the mouse pointer. Given that we arent working with pixelated objects like in adobe it is 99% impossible to get the mouse pointer on the exact spot that the corner changes direction, and to prove that that point is correct. The measure tool relies on the operator to point a mouse at where his eyes perceive something as being, so does the information palette. So both dont provide the accuracy I need unfortunately, thanks for trying to help tho.
