Color gradients in Illustrator...

This is probably simple to fix but oh well...

If I create, say, a circle, and I want to put a gradient in it I can only put black to white gradients...

Heres a pic...

The white with only the K modifiable in the color palette is the white from the gradient slider thing to the left...

Click on the color options (black arrow on the top right corner of the colors palette) and change it to either CMYK or RGB - this will give you more colors.
