Barbershop Design For My Boss
Well, im designing a website for my bosses barbershop business, and was looking for alittle feedback. Its only semi-complete, as there is no content yet, and the rollovers on the tabbed navigation arent complete.
But anyways, what do you guys think? Anything I should change or add to the basic layout (it seems alittle bland to me right now, but that is probally becasue there is no content).

The start is allright, but I'd go for more of a smooth look since it is for a company or whatever you should consider it. Also throw in some color!

The logo is behind the horizontal lines. I think you can also get a better banner photo to use.

What do you mean by horizontal lines, and how do you mean bring the logo to the front?
And the reason I used that image for the banner is becasue that is the street the barbershop is located on in our town...

No, i just dont unerstand what you guys mean, are we talking about the carrs logo? It is infront of the background image of the town... so what do you mean bring it to the front... do you mean emphasize it more?

Doesn't look bad, try setting the body's padding to 0 so that the top and the bottom of the layout stick to the top and the bottom edges of the browser instead of that gap or atleast add something to the top and the bottom to make it look like the sides.
